Hi everyone, 

Before to talk about Hueco Tanks, I propose you a short movie about the Spanish Trip. 

 
After the last Petzl Roc Trip in China, I went to USA for two months. Normally we programmed to go in Hueco Tanks, Bishop and Joe's Valley but finally the snow won on our projects. Doesn't matter, we will found a solution. 

But first after China, I went back to France to support my Handi-Grimpe's event who is still organized in Montigny-le-Bretonneux. A good event !

Then just the time to breath, I took a flight to the direction of the Boulder city to hang around with mister Dave Graham and Jon Cardwell. But my first focus was to organize and to meet some gyms who will be able to dress my Handi-Grimpe's event. I remind you that last year, I did three slideshows with Timmy O'Neil and Chad Butrick to talk about our vision of the handicap. For sure, we are not alone in USA because we were supported by the famous Paradoxsport who help many handicap persons to practice an extreme activity like the climbing, the trekking, the kayaking and the biking. I was so happy to found some positive energies here and to hear how americans people have no complex to talk about the handicap to compare at the Europe's part. They celebrate the handicap and it is awesome! 

After a week in Dave's place, Martina and I went to Hueco Tanks. 

For sure, every bouldering men and women know the famous place of Hueco. 

Hueco is huge place in the middle of the desert of the Texas and precisely near the El Paso town. Nice ! There is many boulder separated in 3 spots like the North Mountain, East Spur and West Mountain.For sure,there is some rangers who control the place but at the end it doesn't disturb, in fact ! 

We arrived at midnight and my friend Jason Kehl came to pick us to drive in the Hueco Rock Ranch who will become our place for 2 months. Nice! At the beginning, we were like simple climbers but we find the solution to not pay the camping and the trailer where we lived. The solution is simple : get a job in Hueco Rock Ranch. 

Just a sarcastic sentence of my part, It was almost the first time I worked for someone and to be under his orders. I knew this case when I worked the first time for my studies in the insurance company but it is also why I never wanted to do again this experience to work for someone and to become a professional climber. Not that I am lazy but just more in the side to be independent. Well I close the subject ! 

To be honest, it was a bit hard to start correctly with the rock of Hueco because it is a kind of hard granite. So you should understand directly that even do you will be so excited to climb on, you have to climb on day "in" and one day "off". I mean it worked for myself and so I wish you it works also for you. Basically, the climbing is a pretty physical for muscles but it also interesting to be perfect n the coordination way. Because it is impossible to try many times the same boulder. If you are a bit mass like me, trying try a lot but the blood was all on my fingers. Check it the movie !

Otherwise, I can't give the name of  all problems that I sent for this trip but the only one thing I am proud to sent the old projects of last year. And also I am proud of my last training in Slovenia and my bronze medal what I got during the last World Championship who helps me to be more concentrate and to believe at my climbing. I pushed my limits, I was training a lot and also my sponsors give me  always their confidence. All good things can give you a progression on the climbing and by contrast it helps you to be calm on all life situations. 

Now I am bit resting in Fontainebleau before to start again the travels and some works in Slovenia to prepare the promotion of WILD ONE.
